Commem $0.50 Sesquicentennial Commemorative 50c Half Dollar - NGC MS65 PQ
Graded MS65 by NGC, this is a rather nice example of the Sesquicentennial commemorative half dollar.
These coins are plagued by marks on the cheek of one or both subjects, this being the result of insufficient striking of poorly prepared planchets, and / or contact after coining.
This coin is free from such marks, and is a rare example as such.
I'll note that the coin has toned some since the photos were shot last year. I'll try to update the photos when I can get to it. Please ask, if desired.
