Error $0.05 / H10c 1849-O Seated Half Dime Rolling Fold - XF
A nice original coin for a rare date, this 1849-O Half Dime sports lots of deep grey toning over strictly original surfaces, with enough detail to grade XF40 for this New Orleans issue.
Of further interest is the fact that this coin was struck through a rim burr, left standing at 3:00 after shearing the blank, and rolled into the planchet by the upsetting mill, technically known as a Rolling Fold. Neat!
