Error $0.05 / H10c 1844-O Seated Liberty Half Dime Rotated Dies - NGC XF40 PQ
Here is a terrific example of the 1844-O Seated Half Dime.
Often found struck in medallic alignment, the dies are rotated 180 degrees.
The wreath details and bottom of the shield are characteristically soft, with all remaining details well-rendered. A surprising amount of mint luster appears for a coin graded XF40, as assigned by NGC (Cert. No. 6057349-001). Surfaces are quite free of distractions, with natural amber, green and gun metal blue color sprinkled over both sides.
Quite a nice example of this scarce date.
