The 1918-S Buffalo nickel is available enough in low grade, but middle and high circulated grade coins are quite scarce, especially when details are adequately struck up.
This coin grades XF, and is well struck, as may be seen in the hair over the indian's ear and at the buffalo's horn and tail.
Despite die erosion being pretty extensive on this example, considerable mint luster is still evident.
